Tax Analysts is looking to recruit a talented, ambitious and creative intern with a passion for visual storytelling to assist our digital engagement and content acquisitions team this spring semester (January-May). This is a great opportunity to gain experience expanding the social media reach and brand awareness of an established publishing company.
Work can be performed remotely. Candidates should be available 25+ hours/week and during regular business hours, Mon-Fri. Juniors or Seniors preferred. Interns are compensated at $15/hour.

SUMMARY: The intern will assist with a variety of digital engagement and content acquisitions functions, including representing the Tax Notes brand across social media platforms, driving audience growth and generating leads for commentary authors and podcast guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet department objectives.
Schedule daily and weekly social media posts;
Create engaging social media campaigns to boost brand awareness;
Identify trends and conversations relevant to the Tax Notes brand;
Identify influencers in the tax arena who may serve as potential contributors or podcast guests;
Assist in managing database of potential and past contributors;
Conduct potential author and student outreach.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Visual storytelling skills, using Canva and Adobe Suite
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
Experience with managing social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
Knowledge of contact management and email marketing systems such as Outlook, MailChimp and/or Constant Contact.
Creative, motivated, well-organized, with good attention to detail
Computer proficiency in Windows, Office, electronic databases, and web searching
Requirements
Active student in good standing currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master level program, Junior or Senior preferred
English, Journalism or Communications majors preferred
